Mary Jane Glade, MS, APRN was born in Lincoln and received her RN from Bryant School of Nursing, where she graduated valedictorian. She received her BSN and MS at Creighton University where she was the recipient of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing award for outstanding research. She graduated Summa Cum Laude. Mary Jane was a nurse in the intensive care unit at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center for over three years, she then went on to finish her Master’s as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner. After practicing family medicine in Tecumseh for three years, she moved to Contemporary Health Care for Women where she now practices.
Mary Jane Glade is also a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and is the co-developer for “Births R Us” Lamaze Childbirth Education Program and teaches these courses quarterly at Contemporary Health Care for Women. Mary Jane is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Nebraska Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Despite being a very active advocate for preventative medicine and women taking an active role in their health care management, she still finds time to relax with her husband and her two sons, and enjoys spending time outdoors and doing photography.
